ON CLOUD 9 is a family business owned by husband and wife team Andrew & Siân Miller

Andrew Miller

Andrew entered the furniture business in 1978 working for the highly respected two centuries old firm of Turberville Smith & Son before moving on in 1986 to join Ramchester Furnishings International where he remained very successfully for thirteen years. Over the past twenty three years he has consistently worked with high end products and blue chip clients across the entire spectrum of office and leisure contract furniture specialising in German and Scandinavian ranges from internationally respected companies.

In 1999 a decision was taken to set up independently with the emphasis being placed firmly on promoting only top quality and good value products from a range of European sources including, most importantly, WALTER KNOLL, who actively encouraged the move. Many other suppliers supported the enterprise and ON CLOUD 9 was launched.

Andrew & Siân– the team

Andrew and Siân met at a Ceroc dance . They had their first date in Holy Trinity Brompton (!) where they married in 2000 in a ceremony which many of the guests consider to be the liveliest, and most spiritual, that they have ever attended !

With the emphasis placing God firmly at the centre of the ceremony a six piece band which included drums, guitars, keyboard and flute, accompanied by the church’s immense organ, encouraged a very lively congregation to cheer their way through the wedding and dance in the aisles. The service ended with over a hundred enthusiastic guests forming an impromptu massed choir in front of the altar before the couple set off down the aisle to a thunderous organ playing Entrance to the Throne Room from Star Wars !

Holy Trinity Brompton ( HTB ), with a 3000 strong lively, young and cosmopolitan congregation is known throughout the world as the home of Alpha ( as presented by Sir David Frost on ITV ) and both Siân and Andrew play an active role in leading Alpha groups, working as Assistant Pastors and helping in other areas of church life.

Interests and activities include antiques, water colour classes, keeping fit at the gym, dancing, cooking and entertaining many of their numerous friends and family.
